Cultural Assimilation Program

This is a full school year cultural immersion program aimed at quickly and efficiently onboard our students into the new country for a deeper appreciation/ understanding of the local culture, history and social/ political landscape that one may not be exposed to in school. This is done through our comprehensive programming including monthly online session that covers recent major U.S. news headlines, preview of upcoming activities and associated backgrounds, as well as a broad spectrum of activities (over 20 activities) that include arts & cultural, sports, outdoor nature/historic walks, community services and guided tours.

To bridge the distance between students and their families abroad, we have also created the monthly family newsletter and welcome families to join the monthly online session with students. Further, we included a weekly online consultation time for families and students, as well as serving as the students' emergency contact support.

Service Period: 8/15/2024 - 5/15/2025
